Holiday Card Workshop, Day 3 Card 2

The card class instructions suggested using your own supplies and use their techniques to make a card uniquely your own.  That would be what I did.

Not having the die they used, I decided to just use a large stamped sentiment.  I added a small border of dark blue to imitate part of the die they used.  Also, not having the patience to make a plaid paper like Laura did, I substituted a piece of designer paper that I liked.

So, here is my take on Laura's card.  It is definitely different than hers, but I think I get the general flavor of hers.
